This is a continuation of our tips on reading. This is the fifth tip for reading. And an important one.
Get all the books you can. You know, I really believe that there is a difference between collecting books and reading. Both are different experiences. A reader reaches a certain stage where collecting books is as sweet as reading them, or even more.
If you want to read, buy the books you want to read. The presence of the book on your table or shelf is a constant reminder that you should read it.
If you don’t have money to buy books, I understand. Borrow them. And return them to the owner after reading them. This is very important. I beg you, in the name of books, please return the books you’ve borrowed to the owners. I am begging you because I can also swear for you. I am also extending this as a plea to those who have borrowed my books to return them.
Another idea for how to get books is to exchange the ones you have with someone else.
Now, more seriously, let me support your reading.
I will be giving away 3 copies of Hankuri Gayaht’s and Philip Morrison Influence: Leading Without Position to different 3 people.
There are terms and conditions.
Of course, I won’t give you it for free. You need to earn it.
Must be in Jos. (Or able to transport the book wherever you are).

Reading opens your mind's horizon to all spheres of life. It gives you what money cannot give you. It shapes and transforms one from a mediocre to an influential and great person in life.
It brings the thoughts of intellectuals and writers and lay them open on the altar of your table for one to sacrifice their thoughts and make them living for the good of the reader and the world at large.
Reading brings transformation and development to individuals and nations.
Reading has shaped my head and heart. Words are not just water on a ducks back,it's a treasured bone of a dog,who chews and chews on it relentlessly till he has gotten all it has from it. Leadership requires reading.
