What Christmas Means To Me
Christmas is the arrival of hope. It is the launching of a disruption, the realization that there's a;
Almasihu, hasken duniya
Begen dukan masu rai,
Yesu Rasul, Kalmar Allah
Tun fil azal kai kadai
Kai kadai madawwami ne
Kai kadai madaukaki
. It is the discovery that Simba is not dead after, and that the Kingdom will be redeemed someday.
I often prefer to think of Christmas as an invasion. An invasion of our world that was long predicted, but no one thought it would happen. Even after it happened, the Chief person who announced it, John the Baptist, got to a point where he was no longer sure, he had to send disciples to check with Jesus if He was still the one.
As far as I'm alive, I will always think of Christmas as the opening scene of the end. It is the first chapter of the last 33. It is the scene where the beat of the movie increase and goes upbeat, it is the part where thereβs a new element in it and all the previous suffering, chaos, pain, and destruction are about to be redeemed. More than anything, we deserve to celebrate this too. Thanos has not won, the avengers can do something and history does not end with the villain winning. This is not the end!
There's hope after all!
So, ladies and gentlemen, let's celebrate. Jesus arrived in this world and that made all the difference, it is only appropriate that history should be divided into BC and AD. Merry Christmas!
