In 2009, I was awarded a full scholarship to study at a prestigious school in Jos. Tuition covered for six years, a dream come true. The school was enchantingโan incredible opportunity that had my entire family beaming with pride. My mother, especially, wore it like a badge of honor. Even before the academic year began, the Principal had already taken a liking to me. It seemed like everything was falling into place.
But life had other plans.
As part of the admission process, I had to undergo a medical checkup. While waiting at the hospital, I struck up a casual conversation with the man at the reception. I donโt even recall what we talked about, but what he said next would alter the course of my life forever. After glancing through my medical report, he turned to my mother and said, "Thatโs not the kind of school for your boy."
And just like that, the future I had envisioned disappeared.
He suggested that my mother consider a school in BokkosโAll Nations Academy. Almost as if under a spell, she took his advice. A few phone calls later, and by the following Thursday, I was in Bokkos, sitting for the common entrance and interview.
That was the moment everything changed.
At first, I was disappointed. I had already fallen in love with the school in Jos. It promised adventure, excitement, and an entirely different experience. Instead, I found myself in Bokkos, a small town, unfamiliar and unremarkableโat least at first glance. But God was working behind the scenes. He had a plan.
Before attending All Nations Academy, I didnโt know Christ the way I do now. I had no real understanding of what it meant to surrender my life to Him. But at ANA, everything shifted. It became the place of my encounter with Godโthe soil in which all the good passions I express today were planted. It was there that I chose to cling to the old rugged cross. It was there that I began to chase God. It was there that the trajectory of my life changed.
Without All Nations Academy, you probably wouldnโt know me. Or worseโyou might have known me as just another lost kid on the streets.
Going to All Nations Academy was the beginning of my Motion. It was the first step in the transformation of my life. Being away from Jenta gave me a new perspective on the world. It shaped me, refined me, and set me on the path I walk today.
In my book, Motion, I tell the full storyโwho I was before ANA, and who I became after. Transformation is a journey, and God uses places and people to shape us. I owe so much to those who played a role in my growth, and you will find their stories in this book.

Whew! The joy that filled my heart when I strolled through these paragraphs. I think I am set to know Lengdung. I don't really know him.
And with that knowing, I am set in motion, too - here in this little village I owe many of my miracles to.
Just a word for now, Sir Lengs, Thank You! Thank you!
