Eliel Wiesel
This is the saddest book I've ever read. Ironically, it's one of the only few books I read more than once.
I love Elie Wiesel. He's a brilliant writer and an engaging one. It is an unfortunate thing that Elie Wiesel had to go through what he went through to write this book, I wish it didn't happen that way. I really wish it didn't. Reading this book gave me chills, cold chills.
Going beyond this book, I have followed Elie Wiesel and read his thoughts on other issues. Using his experience, he became a very powerful voice for the advancement of justice and peace in the world. Although Wiesel is an atheist, he's a writer in whose company I find hope for humanity.
If you're ready to be sad and confronted with the problem of evil, read Wiesel.
