The various writings of the New Testament in the Bible record the stories of the early followers of Jesus and the beginnings of the church. They establish the patterns of life in the Kingdom of God that continue to the present day.

Over the centuries many men and women have written stories about their own encounters with God and of trusting Him; passing them on to us in thousands of books.

Today, we are passing them to you in another format, a website!

The website seeks to answer a question, “Who has ever trusted God like that?” The answer is shocking, especially for my generation. Several thousand men and women who have walked with God have told their stories in books! But how can you find these stories? That’s where the walkingtogether.life website comes in!

Using data science, we have found stories that relate to specific Bible passages. To make them easier to find, we have organized these stories into a topical index.

Our goal is simple, to provide a cloud of witnesses in digital format!

For 4 years now, I and Thaine Norris have enjoyed a beautiful friendship that is almost a fairytale. All of it has been built around wonderful stories, ones we read and ones we shared with each other (and the ones we are now living). Thaine is more likely to send me a story than to just give me an answer. I am more likely to tell him, “Remember that story about Corrie Ten Boom and the cruel guard at the concentration camp?” We’ve enjoyed the great benefit of shared stories. And we want you to enjoy the same now.
