A Builder in God’s Vineyard
He didn’t just build a school—he answered a calling. And through his faithfulness, generations were shaped.
My school principal belongs to a passing generation of men and women who devoted their lives to places and institutions.
For two decades, he built All Nations Academy. He started it from scratch and grew it into a school with nearly a thousand students. By the 2010s, All Nations was competing with schools like BSS, Nakam, Bethany, and a host of others—schools that had been around for decades. All Nations Academy only began in 2004.
That by the 2010s it was already a well-known school—a school a kid like me was forced to attend because of its brilliance—was a testament to the work Mr. Daniel Adisa and a host of dedicated teachers had done in less than ten years.
In Motion, I narrate how an encounter at the hospital changed everything. A man told my mum, “This school is not for you. All Nations Academy is the school for your kid.” That moment changed my life.
When All Nations Academy started, it was just a prayer ground. Participants in the ministry only came there twice a year, plus a few irregular programs. Eventually, they decided they could do more with the place. Maybe they could start a school.
In starting the school, they knew they were taking a risk. They called for teachers—and especially for a principal. Everyone turned down the job. It was Mr. Daniel Adisa who took the unwanted role. From there, the rest is history.
He brought his heart, his body, his intellect, his faith—everything—into the job. That foundation is what made the school worth remembering.
There are very few students you’ll meet who don’t have kind words for Mr. Daniel Adisa. Till today, many still call him “Daddy.” It’s ironic that his official title was supposed to be “Bishop.” Only those who know him outside All Nations Academy use that name.
For us—those of us who schooled and grew there—he was simply the man who fathered us all.
He didn’t just build a school—he answered a calling. And through his faithfulness, generations were shaped.
Mr. Adisa - a father, a mentor, and a hero. He has guided generations to greatness. I will never forget the advice I got from him back then. He made me understand that leadership isn't all about power, but sacrifice. God bless him 🙏
